 * I see this thread has been resolved, but I have the exact same question and don’t
   know much about wordpress. Basically, I don’t understand the process described
   above, but I would really like to set up one of my pages as a “page of posts.”
 * Like Jared, I don’t want a static front page. I want to have the regular blog
   homepage, and then a separate page where I can write posts from time to time.
 * I would really appreciate it if someone could give me some basic instructions
   about how to get this working! Thanks.
