 * To anybody who comes to this page looking for WordPress 2.7 mySqli support, the
   above works quite well — BUT BE CAREFUL.
 * The formatting here botched up the ticket (`) marks pretty bad and will cause
   weird errors if you copy paste. (There’s also one other error, in the “can’t 
   select database” string when copy pasting)
 * I’ve made a copy here which you can see as text:

 * I’m using it with version 2.7.1
