 * As someone mentioned above, if you have another WordPress installation on the
   same server with Wordfence activated, disable that first then try again. This
   worked for me. Thanks!

 * Hi all, also found that the W3 Total Cache plugin was causing problems and the
   repai wouldn’t work. So I connected via ftp, went to wp-content > plugins and
   renamed the w3 total cache folder to disable it, then run repair. You may still
   get an error logging into your admin, so go one folder up in your ftp site and
   find a file named ‘advanced-config.php’ or something similar, and rename that
   as well.
    I then was able to log in, and you guessed it, deleted the little shit!
   hahaha
