 * Never mind. I deactivated and reactivated the plugin and it fixed it.

 * Never mind. I found the answer. I needed to deactivate the Thesis Child Theme,
   and then activate the plugin. After that, I was able to reactivate the child 
   theme and the plugin functioned just fine.
