 * Hi Marcel,
 * I don’t actually know how to do that, am not that technically advanced. But I
   did something very basic: I deactivated the add-on and reactivated it again, 
   and it seems to be working now. Thanks fo the prompt response!

 * I edited my original post to add a second question as I didn’t expect to get 
   such a fast reply: How do I enable avatars for guests and admin? Is it possible
   for guests to use an avatar if my website does not require visitors to register?
