Hi there!
> I have Jetpack, and Jetpack Boost both installed in My WordPress installation. On my Site Health Screen I am getting the following error:
That is correct! Your site is publicly accessible but we cannot access your site’s XML-RPC file: https://danran.rocks/xmlrpc.php
This file is used by Jetpack and other plugins and apps to connect to your site. Because the file is not accessible, Jetpack cannot maintain a connection with your site.
It must return the following message:XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.
You can see a working example here: https://wp.cloud/xmlrpc.php.
Please check for the following scenarios to address the connection issue:
1. Can you see the /xmlrpc.php file at the root of your WordPress installation when accessing your site via FTP? If you don’t, then please try re-installing WordPress. You can do this by going to the Dashboard -> Upgrades page, then click the “Reinstall” button.
2. Do you use any security plugins that may block access to this file? If so, could you try to disable them? You might also want to check your site’s .htaccess file for any rules that might be blocking access to the xmlrpc.php file.
3. Does your hosting provider block access to this file? If you don’t find any plugin that may block access to the file on your site, I would recommend that you get in touch with your host.
Once we are able to access your site’s xmlrpc.php file, please try to reconnect your site: https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/#reconnecting-jetpack.
Let us know how this goes and we’ll check and follow up with the necessary next steps.Forum: Reviews

In reply to: [Jetpack Social] Sharing – print buttonHello @vesco27,
I will inform them. One person told me the button worked on his pc, but not when using his laptop. He used Google Chrome one both, so it might indeed be some settings…? On my laptop (using Chrome) the button works.
Sounds like a good plan!
And yes, the issue points to a possible localized issue with the user’s device and/or browser.
Some other follow-up troubleshooting steps to consider would be:
- Check for JavaScript Issues: Users should make sure JavaScript is enabled in their browser settings.
- Try Other Browsers: If users continue to experience issues, suggest that they try using a different browser, like Firefox or Edge, to see if the problem persists.
Let us know how that goes!
Hi @embrasurespace,
Thank you for sharing your feedback about Jetpack’s features. Feedback like this from users like you helps shape our future decisions.
That said, please note that only commercial website are required to sign up for a mandatory commercial Jetpack Stats plan.
Non-commercial / Personal / Non-profit sites can make a contribution they’re comfortable with and continue using Jetpack Stats.
If you have a specific support request about your website, please feel free to create a new thread here and we’ll follow up with you.
Thank you!
Hello @paperleaf,
The website follows the bedrock structure, where XMLRPC is located at https://kunitzshoes.ca/wp/xmlrpc.php, which may be part of the problem?
I have updated our records to reflect the site URL shared above for your Jetpack connection.
Jetpack indeed relies on unhindered access to the
xmlrpc.php
file and it was previously looking for that file in a completely different URL/directory, i.e.,https://kunitzshoes.ca
.Can you please try re-installing and re-connecting Jetpack and get back to us?
You can follow our guide here for that: https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Safe modeHi @supportoaraneus ,
Can you tell us more about the site/domain you plan to move to eventually, i.e.,
shop.example.com
? Is it a development/staging site at the moment?Your next actions will depend on what you want to do with the Jetpack data generated on both of your site URLs.
In the meantime, I would encourage you to go through our public documentation on Jetpack safe mode here: https://jetpack.com/support/staging-sites/.
This should help you identify different scenarios where you might want to treat your Jetpack connection as separate, or as staging and production.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Jetpack Social] Jetpack social stopped workingHello @mulliesmarine.
Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no activity, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

Hello @jimbyrnescotland,
To deactivate the stats part of Jetpack, you can go to the Jetpack → Settings and open Modules from the footer on that page.
You should be presented with a list of Jetpack’s modules. From there, you can deactivate the Stats module.
Thank you!
Hi there!
For translation concerns regarding text from Jetpack or widgets , you might need to set your site language to Danish under WP Admin general Settings.
You will also need to check for similar language settings in your WordPress.com account and ensure that the site language is set to Danish.
Let us know how if that helps!
Hi @naa986!

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Деньги и ничего большеHello @southklad.
Thanks for sharing your feedback with us.
I’ve been using this plugin for a long time, although in fact, apart from statistics and a notification about the site being disconnected, nothing else was needed, but with the development of the plugin and its popularity, it seems that the developers wanted money, so many sites complain, like me, that this is a non-commercial project, but I have a non-commercial one, advertising that costs from Yandex only pays for the costs of the site and nothing more.
Can you tell us more about the issues you are having with your site’s commercial classification?
Can you share with us your site’s URL as well? We can manually review your site and see if it’s in any way categorized as commercial incorrectly.
You can also start a dedicated support thread about the issue here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack#new-post
Thank you!
