They are just themes, they don’t change the way WordPress works. * Also, you can change the links on the main page editing the theme from the admin panel. Read the instructions for how to do that. * Forum: [Fixing WordPress](https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/) In reply to: [Photoblog – Archive Page](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/photoblog-archive-page/) * [Taly](https://wordpress.org/support/users/taly/) * (@taly) * [18 years ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/photoblog-archive-page/#post-676934) * You can use this plugin to manage your archives if you’re using the excerpt field to post your thumbnail: * [http://moshublog.com/2007/10/30/custom-query-string-reloaded-for-wordpress-23-with-tag-support/](http://moshublog.com/2007/10/30/custom-query-string-reloaded-for-wordpress-23-with-tag-support/) * Forum: [Everything else WordPress](https://wordpress.org/support/forum/miscellaneous/) In reply to: [Question for photographers and image lovers: stealing images off your website](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/question-for-photographers-and-image-lovers-stealing-images-off-your-website/) * [Taly](https://wordpress.org/support/users/taly/) * (@taly) * [18 years, 1 month ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/question-for-photographers-and-image-lovers-stealing-images-off-your-website/#post-856419) * The only way to prevent people to steal your images is to not publish them. It sucks, I know, but most people just don’t understand the concept of copyright or licences. They think that if it’s on the net, it’s free. * As Darran said, watermark is a good solution. * Also, you’ll probably want to disable hotlinking. I noticed people like to decorate they own blog posts with images and they don’t care about stealing others bandwidth. * Forum: [Themes and Templates](https://wordpress.org/support/forum/themes-and-templates/) In reply to: [Photoblog Theme: Spotless](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/photoblog-theme-spotless/) * Thread Starter [Taly](https://wordpress.org/support/users/taly/) * (@taly) * [18 years, 1 month ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/photoblog-theme-spotless/#post-829732) * **chaoskaizer:** The light gray font color was deliberated. The idea is that the picture gets all the attention. And the font color is one of the easiest things to change anyways. * **Jessica:** Instantáneas means “snapshots” in Spanish. And yes, I did take all the pictures in that photoblog. Thanks for your kind words. * And I’m glad you guys liked it. 🙂 * Forum: [Fixing WordPress](https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/) In reply to: [How To Embed Photoblog RSS feed’s images into blog’s sidebar](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-embed-photoblog-rss-feeds-images-into-blogs-sidebar/) * [Taly](https://wordpress.org/support/users/taly/) * (@taly) * [18 years, 2 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-embed-photoblog-rss-feeds-images-into-blogs-sidebar/#post-610532) * Maybe it’s too late, but… * I’ve been looking for a way to do this for months. I finally found the [WP-RSSimport](http://bueltge.de/wp-rss-import-plugin/55/) plugin that let us show the description. So, I’ve modified it so it would **only** show the thumbnail (only if you use the thumbnail in your excerpt on your photoblog). * You can download it [here](http://fivebyfive.com.ar/wp-themes/faq/#thumb). * Forum: [Fixing WordPress](https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/) In reply to: [Taly Photoblog template](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/taly-photoblog-template/) * [Taly](https://wordpress.org/support/users/taly/) * (@taly) * [19 years, 11 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/taly-photoblog-template/#post-447970) * Did you put the thumb url on the EXCERPT field when you post a photo? * Everybody forget that… * Forum: [Themes and Templates](https://wordpress.org/support/forum/themes-and-templates/) In reply to: [Photoblog Templates and Themes](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/photoblog-templates-and-themes/) * [Taly](https://wordpress.org/support/users/taly/) * (@taly) * [20 years, 5 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/photoblog-templates-and-themes/#post-381469) * What new feature o whatever would you like to see on a photoblog theme nicola? * Forum: [Themes and Templates](https://wordpress.org/support/forum/themes-and-templates/) In reply to: [Photoblog themes for WP?
