 * I was also wondering about the possibility of an excerpt for event descriptions,
and I would love this feature.

 * I’m having the same troubles, Arokk. No matter what I do, I get the “Unable to
verify WordPress credentials. Please try again.” error. I have created a new
IFTTT account, I have made sure my XML is active, etc. Nothing!
    Did you ever
   find a solution?

 * I have created a YouTube api key (according to these instructions for a similar
   plugin: [http://community.tubepress.com/topic/5633-how-to-enter-your-google-api-key-into-tubepress/](http://community.tubepress.com/topic/5633-how-to-enter-your-google-api-key-into-tubepress/)),
and I have tried pasting it into the “Last used Youtube API Key” field in the
Advanced Options page, and still I just get the “No Content found” error when
I try to use a YouTube username.
I have tried with both a Browser Key and a
   Server Key.
 * It also will not add any of the playlists to the playlist dropdown to select
from. I want to use the default “Recent Uploads” anyway, but it looks like it
   can’t access any of them.

 * I updated to the latest version of this plugin, and I still get the “No content
found. We’re having trouble finding your content. Please double-check your source
configuration at the top of the page.” error.

 * **eugenealegiojo**‘s fix no longer seems to work for 3.1.3, so post counts on
the index page are all screwed up and displaying the same # for each post, regardless
of how many comments that post has.

 * Have you tried emailing the author, or posting in the support thread at ThemeForest?
 * I’ve got the same problem, but I’m not fully finished going through all the instructions.
pdf files so I don’t know if the problem will go away then, or if it’s actually
a problem with the new version of Jewelry Shop.

 * I just had the same thing happen.
I ended up having to do into the database
   to turn off Admin SSL.
 * It looks like the plugin is just not compatible with WP 2.9.2.
    On the [plugin page](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/admin-ssl-secure-admin/),
8 people say it’s broken with 2.9.2, and 0 people say it works with 2.9.2

 * Great idea, didn’t quite work for me.
Instead of automatically going it, it
generated an SQL query that I had to enter manually into the database in order
to duplicate the images (meaning it was faster to just re-upload images if you
only had one per page/post). It also did not duplicate any image size settings(
   eg thumbnails, etc).
 * If you just need basic image duplication, this should be fine for you.

 * [@andikam](https://wordpress.org/support/users/andikam/) – what did you do to
resolve the issue? Was it just changing themes that fixed it? I’m using the ThrillingTheme
and am having this issue, but I was also having the same problem briefly on a
   theme based on WP Premium.

 * switzer/Scott:
 * Apparently I was failing at inserting the ads properly – the Wiki and Documentation
sections on the plugin website were blank when I was trying to learn how to use
it. They seem to have some sections available today, and I was not adding the
ads to my posts properly. The ad always worked fine in the preview.
 * Now that I can add them to my posts, I get a new problem. Instead of an ad appearing,
   I get this:
 * Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in/
   home/.alonzo/taipa/caitlinthompson.com/wp-content/plugins/advertising-manager/
   lib/OX/Ad.php on line 140
 * EDIT: this same error appears when I try to use the Widget to display ads in
   the sidebar as well

 * I’m not sure if this will help in figuring out what the problem is, but I upgraded
to WP 2.8.6 _before _installing Advertising Manager, and it doesn’t work either.

I do not get a fatal error, it just doesn’t actually display the ads that I have
added and told it to display on pages and posts.

 * The default directory for the plugin is lj-comments-import, and it needed to
be changed to lj_comments_import. After I did that it worked like a charm!

 * Not sharing the URL doesn’t help much if other people link to it. :/ If your
blog is visible by simply going to the URL, other people can find it.
 * “Not letting it be indexed” means not letting search engines like Google or MSN
view your site. This can be done in the Settings > Privacy section by selecting
the “I would like to block search engines, but allow normal visitors” option.
 * There is also a plugin called Members Only that will allow you to require all
users to log in to see your blog, if you are still interested. It’s what I use
   on my family site.

 * I just checked my database in phpmyadmin.
 * I can see the plugin has added wp_lj_comments, wp_lj_comments_meta, and wp_lj_comments_users
to the database, so I assume the plugin is not having trouble connecting to the
database. These tables are empty (as no comments have been imported).
 * I also discovered that the rest of my DB uses latin1_swedish_ci as the collation,
so I changed that from utf-8 in the plugin, but the plugin still does not work
   work me.
