I just released an update that hopefully fixes that problem. I can add a shortcode that excludes specific posts. That would definitely be better than using the shortcode on every other post. I have tried many things and posted questions on developer forums. It seems to only occur for channels. Open the Widgets panel and drag the “PubMed Posts Search” widget into one of the boxes on the right (eg. Primary Sidebar). The widget only searches through posts that were imported from PubMed.
