I wasn’t able to get this to work with a child theme. Did it work for anyone else? I’m not too concerned right now since the site I’m working on will only be up for a couple of months. It would be good to do it the “right way” for more permanent sites, though.
I’ve got the same question– is there a better way of changing this than inside the plugin? My contact form is for a psychiatrist who doesn’t want people to think others have read the form submission. Deleting the “To: Webmaster” line every time he replies to an email may be a little bit beyond him.
Same thing was happening to me. I noticed that when I copied and pasted the Consumer key and Consumer secret from Twitter, I picked up some extra white-space before the key/secret. I deleted this in the plugin’s settings fields and it now works.
