There might be a caching on your site that’s why it doesn’t redirect immediately. * If you don’t have a Cart Condition enabled, the URL Coupon should apply the coupon to the cart even when it is redirected to your homepage while the cart is empty. Then adding a product to the cart should enable the user to view the applied coupon in the cart page. * I’m afraid that adding a Cart Condition setting won’t allow the URL Coupon to apply the coupon unless the condition is met first.
