 * Thank you so much Erik – that worked! I missed out the ‘.’ at the start of the
   code when I tried the first time.
 * I added the code you suggested into the Custom CSS field on the Customize panel
   and the date, author and categories have now been removed.

 * Hi there – I have the same problem. Did you have to uninstall W3 Total Cache 
   or was it possible to change a setting to resolve this? Any help much appreciated!
