Not sure if that matters. After reverting there were some lingering issues, this being one of them and and issue with the Litespeed Cache plugin. I think my issue was actually with the Litespeed cache plugin which was unable to find the object cache. After some trouble shooting I was able to get Litespeed Cache working again. I’ve just found out this morning that this was a symptom of a larger issue that has now been resolved.
