In reply to: [Email Log] Emails sent but not receivedHello @gujingc
Our plugin only logs the emails that are sent through WordPress. But the actual delivery of the email would be handled by the email server or the email service that is configured in your web server.
If the email appears in the email log, then it means that things are working at the WordPress side, but something else is preventing these emails from being received.
It could because of the email server or service.
Since this is not because of our plugin, I am marking this thread as resolved. But do let us know what email server or service you are using to send these emails and we will see if we can help you with your debugging.

In reply to: [Bulk Delete] waste of timeHello @shiftaction
Thanks for the feedback. We always try to make a balance between free features vs paid features and try to make it clear what features are available in the free plugins vs paid in the readme.
Just curious which feature you thought was available in free plugin was not available?

In reply to: [Bulk Delete] Deleting 20 000+ terms causes fatal memory errorHow is the hydroponic garden coming along?
It’s coming along nice. Will post an update for you offline.
Thanks for letting me know about your usecase. We are also working on a seperate module for WooCommerce. Will consider this as part of that module.
Have you considered enabling branches of terms to be delted? i.e. delete all terms with parent=….
We didn’t consider it before, but thanks for suggesting it. I have now added it to our todo list. You can track the progress at https://github.com/sudar/bulk-delete/issues/711

In reply to: [Bulk Delete] Deleting 20 000+ terms causes fatal memory errorHello @aurovrata
Follow up question. Just curious, based on what criteria are you deleting the terms?
Are you deleting them by name or based on post count?

You can choose the list of user roles that should have access to the email log from the settings.
Please follow the instructions at https://wpemaillog.com/docs/restrict-access-to-email-logs-based-on-user-roles/ to enable the view log page for Editors.
Try it out and let us know if you still have any questions.

I am doing good. How about you? Long time no see.
Thanks for the feedback and suggestion.
The reason why we don’t use direct SQL queries and instead rely on WordPress built-in functions is to make sure all cleans ups that are done by WordPress are done properly.
For example when WordPress deletes a term it does other things like deleting associated Metadata, For parent terms the children are updated to be parent etc. There could also be plugins/themes that might listen to hooks/actions to perform their own cleanup as well.
I agree that this becomes an issue when the number of terms are huge. We are looking at ways to do these operations more efficiently.
One solution that we have in mind is to automatically delete them in batches. We are exploring it and will be adding it as a feature soon.

In reply to: [Email Log] Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.Hello @aboother
This is the first time someone reported this issue. We are looking into it right away.
Did you install the Email Log plugin fresh or did you upgraded it from an earlier version?

In reply to: [Bulk Delete] Didn’t workHello @chrisssy
Sorry to know that you faced issues with the plugin.
The plugin doesn’t place any restrictions on the number of users or posts that can be deleted. But if your server doesn’t have enough resources to handle the load, then it will result in timeout. I guess that’s mostly what has happened in your case.
We also have a feature where you can delete the users in batches. Did you try that?
Let me know if you need any assistance in deleting users by batches.

In reply to: [Email Log] Some emails are logged twiceHello @philraymond
Are you able to see any pattern in the emails that are getting logged twice? Are they from a specific plugin?
Also do you have any of our add-ons like Forward email or resend email installed?
