 * I had the same problem with the Groups not being generated automatically. I checked
   the developer’s version report and version 2.5 was designed to deal with the 
   issue: [‘Fix no group created on install’. ](https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/#developers)
 * I, therefore, uninstalled the Redirection plugin and reinstalled it, and that
   sorted out the issue [(screenshot)](https://www.screencast.com/t/j2j0kIwyu) with
   Groups now being automatically generated. (Simply deactivating and re-activating
   the plugin did not work.)
