 * *bump* Well, I’m not sure but if someone could, please check the **single.php**
   as well? The problem might be here although I highly doubt it… if anything, it’s
   probably in the comments.php above.
 *     ```
       <?php get_header(); ?>
       <?php if(have_posts()) : ?><?php while(have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>

       	<div class="post" id="post-<?php the_ID(); ?>">
       		<h1><?php the_title(); ?></h1>
       		<h3 class="postmetadata"><?php the_time('l, F jS Y') ?> <?php edit_post_link('Edit', ' | ', ''); ?> | <a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>" title="<?php the_title(); ?>">Permalink</a></h3>
       		<div class="entry">
       		<?php the_content(); ?> <?php link_pages('<strong>Pages:</strong> ', '
       ', 'number'); ?>
       		</div>
       		<?php comments_template(); ?>
       	</div>
       <?php endwhile; ?>

       	<div id="navigation"><?php previous_post_link('&laquo; %link') ?> <?php next_post_link(' %link &raquo;') ?></div>

       <?php else : ?>

       	<h2>Not Found</h2>
       	Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn't here.

       	<?php get_search_form(); ?>
       <?php endif; ?>
       <?php get_footer(); ?>

 * This removes it from paragraphs as well though. I suggest you make a css element
   in which p img { margin: 0; } ?

 * I reinstalled wordpress and found that the comments were working. I later discovered
   that they were not showing up because of the **permalinks**. I’d chose to use`/%
   year%/%monthnum%/%day%/` and that does not work so I just switched over to `/%
   year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%post_id%/`. Hope the hint helps people with similar problems.

 * Nevermind, it seems that I’ve got the wrong file to edit. It’s not page.php,
   but **single.php** because it’s the single page for one post entry. I’ve checked
   the single.php after reuploading a new one just in case and it has `<?php comments_template();?
   >` but comments still aren’t showing up.
    The file:
 *     ```
       <?php
       /**
        * @package WordPress
        * @subpackage Default_Theme
        */

       get_header();
       ?>

       	<div id="content" class="widecolumn">

       	<?php if (have_posts()) : while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>

       		<div class="navigation">
       			<div class="alignleft"><?php previous_post_link('&laquo; %link') ?></div>
       			<div class="alignright"><?php next_post_link('%link &raquo;') ?></div>
       		</div>

       		<div <?php post_class() ?> id="post-<?php the_ID(); ?>">
       			<h2><?php the_title(); ?></h2>

       			<div class="entry">
       				<?php the_content('<p class="serif">Read the rest of this entry &raquo;</p>'); ?>

       				<?php wp_link_pages(array('before' => '<p><strong>Pages:</strong> ', 'after' => '</p>', 'next_or_number' => 'number')); ?>
