 * [@fredbra](https://wordpress.org/support/users/fredbra/) ,
   We truly appreciate
   your feedback and understand where you’re coming from.
 * Currently, variations in the Stock Manager dashboard are shown in descending
   order so that the most recently added variation appears at the top. This makes
   it easier to update stock for newly added variations.
 * So far, we haven’t received requests to display them in ascending order. However,
   we’ve made a note of your feedback and will keep you informed if this feature
   is added in a future update.
   Regarding our earlier suggestion to try the free
   version of Smart Manager, it wasn’t meant as a push to switch plugins, but simply
   as an optional workaround.

 * Currently, it is not possible to change the default order of variations using
   the Stock Manager for WooCommerce plugin. Variations are listed in descending
   order based on their IDs, which is why you’re likely seeing them appear in the
   order they were created i.e. newest first.
 * Alternatively, you can have a check with our best store management plugin – [Smart Manager](https://wordpress.org/plugins/smart-manager-for-wp-e-commerce/),
   which allows you to view variations sorted by ‘Menu Order’ field and access other
   powerful features.
 * Request you to kindly have a check with the [Smart Manager demo](https://demo.storeapps.org/?demo=sm-woo)
   for your reference.

 * We understand your concerns. However, modifying plugin files directly is not
   a recommended practice, as it can lead to issues during future updates and also
   increases repeated manual work.
 * To address this, we’ve released a new version of the plugin (v3.4.0), which includes
   an alternative method to hide the ‘Smart Manager’ message. Please follow the
   steps below to implement this solution:
    1. Go to your WordPress database and open {prefix}options table.
    2. Insert a new row with option_name as `sa_wsm_dismiss_in_app_pricing_notice`
       and option_value as `1`.
    3. Now, refresh the Stock Manager page and you won’t see the ‘Smart Manager’ message
       anymore.
 * > It just should show the thumbnails a little smaller. It takes a longe space
   > in the screen.
 * For this currently you can write some custom CSS targeting the `stock-manager-
   field-thumbnail` CSS class.
 * > but smart manager is over complex, and slower to use. Believe me I’ve tried
   > it several times.
 * Have you tried with latest version of Smart Manager plugin too, as we had made
   some performance improvements.

   Filter by ‘In stock’ not working after last update” that you reported along with
   other important updates and fixes. Request you to update the plugin to the latest
   version and let us know your views.

 * To hide the ‘Smart Manager’ message, you can use the following CSS snippet:
 *     ```wp-block-code
       .wsm_in_app_pricing_notice {    display: none;}
       ```
 * As for functionality, even the free version of [Smart Manager](https://wordpress.org/plugins/smart-manager-for-wp-e-commerce/)
   includes several powerful features for managing stock – including advanced search,
   support for custom stock fields, and the ability to manage any product related
   data more efficiently.
 * Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
 * As checked, we couldn’t replicate this issue on our end. However, we would like
   to assist you in resolving this issue. Here are some steps to help identify and
   fix the problem:
    1. Update the plugin to the latest version of the Stock Manager for WooCommerce
       plugin i.e., v3.2.0 if you haven’t already done.
    2. Note that this plugin only exports published products. Please confirm that all
       the products you expect to see in the export are published.
 * If the above checks are fine and the issue still persists then we’ll need to
   isolate what’s really causing this problem. Here’s something that will help:
    - Install a free theme like [Twenty Twenty](https://wordpress.org/themes/twentytwenty/)
      or [Storefront](https://wordpress.org/themes/storefront/) but do not activate/
      switch your current theme
    - Install the free plugin [Health Check & Troubleshooting](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/)
      on your site – this plugin is developed by the [WordPress.org](http://wordpress.org/)
      team and is pretty good at diagnosing problems in such situations.
    - Once the health check plugin is installed, keep only WooCommerce and Stock
      Manager for WooCommerce plugins active for the admin side and try to reproduce
      the issue you reported. Make sure to do this only for the admin side – that
      way visitors to your site won’t be affected.
    - [Here’s a nice article that explains this process.](https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/troubleshooting-using-health-check/)
    - Reply to this same email and share your findings with us… Were you able to
      reproduce the issue? What were the exact steps?
    - If the issue does not occur, it means the problem is with some other plugin.
      You may try activating/deactivating a combination of plugins to figure out
      exactly what causes the problem
 * As mentioned earlier in this thread, the issue may be related to the WooCommerce
   REST API. Since the plugin relies on these APIs and the problem seems specific
   to certain sites, we kindly request you to share a temporary login link by contacting
   us from [here](https://www.storeapps.org/support/contact-us/).
 * For detailed instructions on how to share access, please refer to the previous
 * Thank you for the update. As mentioned in our previous reply, we couldn’t replicate
   the ‘Loading failed’ issue on our end.
   The issue you’re experiencing seems related
   to the WooCommerce REST API. Since the plugin relies on these APIs, any changes
   or issues with the API could cause such behavior. Could you confirm if the REST
   API has been disabled or if any recent changes were made to it?As the issue seems
   specific to your site, please share the temporary login link by contacting us
   from [here](https://www.storeapps.org/support/contact-us/).
 * Here’s a secure way for you to give us administration access to your site:
    - Please go to your site’s WordPress Admin, install and activate the free WordPress
      plugin – [Temporary Login Without Password](https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/)(
      the plugin is developed by our own team, and used by top plugin developers
      like Yoast and others).
    - From that plugin, create a new temporary login link with administrator access,
      and one-month validity. We just need the temporary login link, you can use
      any of your own email addresses as the account email address.
    - Share the secure login link by contacting us from [here](https://www.storeapps.org/support/contact-us/).
    - Please also share steps to reproduce the issue in as much detail as you can.
 * Once this is done, we will access the site and diagnose the problem.
 * If for some reason you can not grant access to your live site, another option
   is for you to set up a staging site, replicate the problem there, and provide
   access to that.
