 * By default, Smart Manager is accessible to all users with the ‘administrator’
role. If you want to control access for specific user roles (like Shop Managers)
or individual users, you’ll need to use the [Access Privileges](https://www.storeapps.org/docs/sm-privileges-for-different-system-roles/)
feature, which is available in Smart Manager Pro.

 * Thank you for this valuable feedback. This seems to be an issue and we can replicate
it on our end that the “**Featured Product**” column and [Advanced Search](https://www.storeapps.org/docs/sm-how-to-filter-records-using-advanced-search/)
support for featured WooCommerce products are currently not available, even though
they were available previously. We have noted this and will keep you updated
when this fix is included in the upcoming release.

 * [@hosseinkh](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hosseinkh/)
 * Are you referring to the loading of the post thumbnail image in the Smart Manager
grid? Yes, currently the main featured image is loaded, and for a larger number
of products in the grid (e.g., 200 per page), it can take time to load all the
   images.
 * We have an alternative fix for this ready on our end. Could you please contact
us from [here](https://www.storeapps.org/contact-us/) so we can help you with
a copy of the plugin containing the fix to test?

 * [@hosseinkh](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hosseinkh/)
 * Currently, the feature to round prices to the nearest thousands/hundreds is not
available in the Smart Manager plugin. However, we have noted this as a valuable
suggestion and will keep you updated if it’s included in a future plugin update.
 * Also, could you please provide more details about your use case? For example,
are you referring to rounding off decimal values (like 10.99 to 11.00) or rounding
numbers based on some specific conditions? An example would help us understand
your requirements better and guide you accordingly.
 * Alternatively, [Smart Manager Pro](https://www.storeapps.org/product/smart-manager/)
   offers [Bulk Edit](https://www.storeapps.org/docs/sm-how-to-use-batch-update/)
functionality that allows you to update prices for multiple products at once –
for example, you can increase or decrease WooCommerce Product prices by a percentage
or fixed number, set sale prices based on regular prices, and perform other price-
related operations. This helps you avoid manual calculations and reduces the
chances of manual errors. You can try out the demo from [here](https://demo.storeapps.org/?demo=sm-woo)
   to see how it works.

 * Just to clarify, are you referring to installing the [Smart Manager](https://wordpress.org/plugins/smart-manager-for-wp-e-commerce/)
plugin and accessing its **Product Stock Log** dashboard?
 * As per our previous reply, the Product Stock Log dashboard is available in Smart
Manager, not in the Stock Manager for WooCommerce plugin. We recommend installing
Smart Manager and checking out [this](https://www.storeapps.org/docs/sm-how-to-get-stock-log-of-your-woocommerce-product-inventory-updates/)
documentation for more details on how to access Product Stock Log dashboard.
 * Also, please note that Smart Manager will only show stock log entries tracked
after Smart Manager is installed and inventory changes are made from the Smart
Manager dashboard. And the Smart Manager’s [Pro](https://www.storeapps.org/product/smart-manager/)
version tracks product changes from the WordPress admin screen, third-party plugins,
   and the REST API.

 * > Now and then we are experiencing that some products are sold even though we
   > are 99.9 % sure that the stock of the product was 0 before the sale. And backorders
   > are not allowed.
 * The Stock Manager for WooCommerce plugin is designed to manage WooCommerce Products
inventory data from a single dashboard, without interfering with WooCommerce’s
   checkout or order processes.
 * If products are being sold despite having zero stock, this could be related to
other third-party plugins or custom code. As this seems specific to your site,
   here’s something that will help:
    - Install a free theme like [Twenty Twenty](https://wordpress.org/themes/twentytwenty/)
or [Storefront](https://wordpress.org/themes/storefront/) but do not activate/
      switch your current theme
    - Install the free plugin [Health Check & Troubleshooting](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/)

on your site – this plugin is developed by the WordPress.org team and is pretty
good at diagnosing problems in such situations.
    - Once the health check plugin is installed, keep only WooCommerce and Stock
Manager for WooCommerce plugins active for the admin side and try to reproduce
the issue you reported. Make sure to do this only for the admin side – that
way visitors to your site won’t be affected.
    - [Here’s a nice article that explains this process.](https://woocommerce.com/document/troubleshooting-using-health-check/)
    - If the issue does not occur, it means the problem is with some other plugin.
You may try activating/deactivating a combination of plugins to figure out
      exactly what causes the problem.
 * Do try the above steps and let us know your views.
 * > **If we check the stock log of the product, we cannot figure out what is wrong.
   > Is it possible to see what kind of action that has led to the stock change?**
 * Currently, the feature to view the action or the reason involved with the WooCommerce
Product stock quantity changes is not available in the Stock Manager for WooCommerce
   plugin.
 * Alternatively, you can have a check with our best store management plugin – [Smart Manager](https://wordpress.org/plugins/smart-manager-for-wp-e-commerce/),
which has all the features of Stock Manager for WooCommerce plugin and offers
   a [Product Stock Log](https://www.storeapps.org/docs/sm-how-to-get-stock-log-of-your-woocommerce-product-inventory-updates/)
dashboard that tracks majority of product changes from the admin screen, third-
party plugins, and REST API. Using this, you can view the type of change and
other data like author, previous value, and updated value. Click [here](https://demo.storeapps.org/?demo=sm-woo)
   to check its functionality.
 * > **Furthermore, the stock log is missing some changes, which we can see in the
   > order notes. How can that happen? Do you have any ideas on how to debug this
   > further?**
 * As mentioned above, the Stock Manager for WooCommerce plugin does not interfere
with WooCommerce’s checkout or order processes. It tracks and displays the stock
log for changes that are made from its Dashboard or from the WooCommerce default
Product edit page or the Products admin list view.
 * Could you please explain a bit more about what kind of changes you are referring
to by “some changes” with the help of some screenshots? This will help us check
   and guide you accordingly.

 * Thanks for your response! We understand your concern about troubleshooting on
a live site. Even so, the [Health Check & Troubleshooting](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/)
plugin runs in complete isolation and won’t affect your visitors or site functionality.
 * Alternatively, you can set up a staging site, replicate the issue there, and
troubleshoot safely without any concerns about your live environment.
 * If you prefer, we’re happy to investigate the issue directly on your site. Please
share the temporary login link by contacting us from [here](https://www.storeapps.org/support/contact-us/).
Here’s a secure way for you to give us administration access to your site:
    - Please go to your site’s WordPress Admin, install and activate the free WordPress
plugin – [Temporary Login Without Password](https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/)(
the plugin is developed by our own team, and used by top plugin developers
      like Yoast and others).
    - From that plugin, create a new temporary login link with administrator access,
and one-month validity. We just need the temporary login link, you can use
any of your own email addresses as the account email address.
    - Share the secure login link by contacting us from [here](https://www.storeapps.org/support/contact-us/).
    - Please also share steps to reproduce the issue in as much detail as you can.
 * Once this is done, we will access the site and diagnose the problem.
 * Also, feel free to explore [Smart Manager](https://wordpress.org/plugins/smart-manager-for-wp-e-commerce/)
Lite first to see if it meets your needs.

 * We completely understand your concerns about the transition from Stock Manager
   to [Smart Manager](https://wordpress.org/plugins/smart-manager-for-wp-e-commerce/).
Smart Manager may seem more complex initially, but it’s designed to be powerful
yet intuitive once you get familiar with it. It offers features such as [Bulk Edit](https://www.storeapps.org/docs/sm-how-to-use-batch-update/),
   [Advanced Search](https://www.storeapps.org/docs/sm-how-to-filter-records-using-advanced-search/),
   [Export CSV](https://www.storeapps.org/docs/sm-how-to-export-data-to-csv-file/),
and more, allowing you to access all your records at a single glance.
 * We understand change can be challenging. If you have specific workflows from
Stock Manager that you’re finding difficult to replicate in Smart Manager, please
let us know the exact steps you’re trying to achieve. We’d be happy to guide
   you through them.
 * > I also need to confirm that the SKU search is not working. Entering a value
   > also lists a lot more products with totally different SKU’s (variable and simple
   > products). Is there a solution to that?
 * We have tested the search functionality to filter variable products using the
variation SKU or the parent product SKU, and it worked as expected.
 * As the issue seems specific to your site, we’ll need to isolate what’s really
causing this problem. Here’s something that will help:
    - Install a free theme like [Twenty Twenty](https://wordpress.org/themes/twentytwenty/)
or [Storefront](https://wordpress.org/themes/storefront/) but do not activate/

on your site – this plugin is developed by the [WordPress.org](http://wordpress.org/)
team and is pretty good at diagnosing problems in such situations.
    - Once the health check plugin is installed, keep only WooCommerce and [Stock Manager for WooCommerce](https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-stock-manager/)
plugins active for the admin side and try to reproduce the issue you reported.
Make sure to do this only for the admin side – that way visitors to your site
      won’t be affected.
    - [Here’s a nice article that explains this process.](https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/troubleshooting-using-health-check/)
    - Reply to this same email and share your findings with us… Were you able to
reproduce the issue? What were the exact steps?
    - If the issue does not occur, it means the problem is with some other plugin.
You may try activating/deactivating a combination of plugins to figure out
      exactly what causes the problem.
