You would need to maintain those changes or else you would loose them while updating plugin. * Further, we have noted your suggestion to add setting to customize the redirect link style and would try to implement it in the future releases of the plugin. * With regards to using the modified code on your production site i would suggest you to first test it on your staging/test site and if it doesn’t create any issues then i guess it is fine to use it on your production site. * Thank You.
