Because the Stock Manager for WooCommerce plugin requires some build process for the `.js` file changes to be compiled into a single file and from where its reflected on the UI.Also, the strings that you are referring to are JavaScript strings and in order to translate them, you need to have JSON files along with .po and .mo files as described [here](https://developer.wordpress.org/block-editor/how-to-guides/internationalization/#create-translation-file). * Could you try using the Loco Translate plugin for translating the same strings and do let us know if that works for you or not?
