I’ve been looking but haven’t found a way to get around this. It’s causing no small number of headaches, but Contact Forms 7, the other forms module I’ve used, sometimes hangs forever under a mysterious set of circumstances, as well. This was my underlying root cause (it may or may not be yours). Apparently Updraft tried 9 times and then decided nothing was happening. It then at some point did one more try and apparently stopped with no wrap-up.
