 * [@empowersource](https://wordpress.org/support/users/empowersource/) Contacted
   hosts and they explained that my infected domains are on my account and would
   be a ‘draw’ ie slowing up all other domains on the server due to the malware
   redirects. They accept the malware is no threat to other domains, but insisted
   that the added strain on the CPU’s is unfair to other customers. They have offered
   to rectify all my infected sites at one cost rather than the same cost per domain,
   and activate enhanced security package annually at one cost for all domains rather
   than separately. I do get the feeling they are acknowledging some responsibility
   in the infection occurring, without admitting it out right to me…I will update
   this thread when they have secured the domains and what/how they achieved it
   if possible.

 * [@empowersource](https://wordpress.org/support/users/empowersource/) Thanks for
   the reply, very useful info that I have presented to the hosts, wait to hear
   what they say…

 * I too have been hacked in the same way. The curious difference being that I have
   8 domains registered by my host, and 6 of them use their servers, only those
   6 have been infected… I am not a tech savvy website builder, the sites are ‘simple’,
   and being a cynic by nature, my primary question is can/would the host servers
   risk an infection of my sites in order to charge me a lot of money to repair
   them? Those far more tech savvy than myself could surely ‘bring down’ a company
   that was possibly doing such a thing? They have threatened to shut my sites down
   tonight if the infections are not removed and I subscribe to their own site security
   package…
