 * For me, it was the MySQL password problem. I used the auto password generated
   by cPanel (when you create mysql user) and it contained characters EZPZ had trouble
   with.
 * I changed the MySQL user pass and that fixed it.

 * Check:
 * 1. See if permission for wp-admin is set to 755, if not, set to 755
    2. See if

 * => In your cPanel, add “%” without the quote to access host (under mysql section)
 * => then db host, you can use the server name (without “databasename).”) or your
   own domain name. I recommend using your domain name [http://www.yourdomain.com](http://www.yourdomain.com)(
   since server name shall get changed in the future, we never know)

 * Hi Lisa,
 * Auto upgrade is now included in version 2.7 so after this, managing your WordPress
   will be really easy 🙂
 * When you say disappeared, do you mean your blog is now at the “like new” state
   with the initial sample post OR you get a blank page?

 * Hi Jsandifer,
 * Your host knows the server configuration and can help you better. I guess you
   need to set permission 777 to both of these folders for it to work
 * – wp-content
    – uploads

 * Check if you have enough free disk space?
 * Else ask your host for assistance. They can download WordPress to your account
