 * I know, dude. But in most cases, the BookFace lets you choose… not sure why LI
   doesn’t. Dumb.

 * No kidding. I really can’t stand the BookFace.
 * Here’s an oddity. We post a featured image and then 2 or 3 small inline images
and I’ve specified the “fallback” image (here’s today’s post: [http://blog.contatta.com/forwarding-is-backward-thinking/572](http://blog.contatta.com/forwarding-is-backward-thinking/572))…
Because of the order the OG markup is going in — fallback first and featured
last — LinkedIn (who must be piggybacking on the OG markup) is grabbing the first
image (the default), with no way to scroll through the array. So we never get
   the featured image.
 * At least FB gives you the ability to scroll though and choose. (I’m guessing
from what you said that FB used to weight the final image as the one to use…
but now they’re using the first one unless you change it?)

 * I solved it a different way. I installed the WP Facebook Open Graph protocol
plug in to create my OG markup (which I needed to do anyway) and now my featured
image is available again. Thanks for your help. 🙂

 * First the image was showing, but at the small size of the defined Twitter image
size (the fallback, not the size defined in the dropdown). But I had checked
the box to add my OG markup with the twitter card. So I unchecked that box.
 * At that point, all the other images on my page are available, but not the Featured
image I want. (You can see it by running this URL through the Object debugger
   from FB: [http://blog.contatta.com/the-art-of-making-contact/556](http://blog.contatta.com/the-art-of-making-contact/556))
 * I’ve tried removing the fallback size of the Twitter image… but that doesn’t
affect it now that it’s not creating the OG markup. Very confusing. My twitter
   cards look nice though. 😉

 * Yes, this is what happens to me too. If I have an image as the very first part
of my post, the description field just doesn’t show up in the Twitter cards.
 * We also have some custom code we add (just a couple divs with classes) that hold
an image and start some of our posts. This also makes the description fail. It
only works if the post starts with words only.
