 * Turns out Mac’s TextEditor was messing with the PHP text and causing it to not
be read correctly. Updating via capable fixed this issue.

 * I should add now I’ve found the problem. A plugin called Recent Category Posts
   is causing this problem. ([http://jameslao.com/2011/03/24/category-posts-widget-3-2/](http://jameslao.com/2011/03/24/category-posts-widget-3-2/))
 * When I deactive the plugin posts appear as normally. Now the question for anyone:
Any earthly idea why the plugin is causing this? And solutions?
