 * Could’ve swore I posted this here, but guess not.
 * I ran into the same issue, and moving the files up one has allowed it to work.
 * Other than that the plug-in is working as advertised. I had a bunch of people
   stress test it for me earlier and have yet to hit a snag.

 * I visited in various browsers and didn’t get any warning of the sort.
 * Where was your security warning originating from? Anti-virus/malware software?
   Google? Local Firewall?
 * Just curious as I haven’t been able to find a single report about it via a web
   search and Google malicious site search.
 * EDIT:
 * Okay, I see it now. It is coming from Google.
 * It seems to only be happening when going to the demo of that particular plug-
   in.
 * Most likely an errant report by someone. Web admin can fix it by reporting it
   as an error to Google.

 * Did you use Export and then Import?
 * When moving the content over I would use those two (they are in the Tools section).
   You will have the chance to tell the test site what to bring over, which will
   includes categories, images, tags, authors, etc. The only thing it won’t grab
   is things like Flash videos, but for the most part you won’t need to worry about
   that unless there is a specific reason to test against Flash.
 * I, too, have a test subdomain for pre-deployment of new features and this is
   how I do it. I keep all plug-ins the same, the theme the same, and just use Export/
   Import for the content.

 * alltrue-
 * At this point, going in and changing percentage size of images through the WordPress
   editor is the time saving way compared to uploading new versions. That will give
   you code per image to resize them for the new format without having to resize
   the images directly.
 * Do you have a public preview of the new format you are creating? Being able to
   see it in action would allow my mind to formulate a possible fix outside of the
   one posted above.

 * Images:
 * What is your actual issue with the images? Is it the resolution or the file size?
 * When I looked at your site all I saw were images that were already resized.
 * Either way here are two solutions that might help out some:
 * Mac: iPhoto is included on every Mac. You can resize upon export, which will
   help bring the file size down as well.
 * WinPC: Picasa is free from Google. It performs much the same as iPhoto.
 * If you are a power user there is always Aperture (Mac only) and Photoshop. Either
   will bring resolutions and final sizes down to manageable levels.
 * Without more information on the actual image issue, that is about all I can give.

 * There are plug-ins that allow bypassing of the Dashboard upon login.
 * Can’t think of any directly at the moment by name, but a quick search of “login
   dashboard” should reveal the proper results in the plug-in directory.
 * Read-only access is a given for the Subscriber role. I don’t see any reason to
   go beyond that, but you could always create a “Staff” role with the same permissions
   if naming is an issue.
 * [http://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities](http://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities)
 * That link, at the very bottom, has some resource links to roles and capabilities
   plug-ins that will allow you to create the “Staff” role.
 * As for allowing some pages and not others, you would have to set access level
   for each page. Again, a plug-in would be needed.
 * Hope that helps. I’m sure someone will come in here and make me look like a rank
   amateur rather quickly with more extensive knowledge, and that’s okay. 😀
 * EDIT:
 * Just thought of something on the pages.
 * I think, and this would have to be looked at more in-depth, but with a plug-in
   you might be able to restrict access to pages within a certain category. So if
   you have that group of pages the “Staff” are not allowed to see, you could restrict
   access to the categories those pages are in by their “Staff” role.
 * Something to look in to as it would make restrictions a lot easier than on a
   page by page basis.

 * Welcome to the club. 🙂
 * Two of my sites are now getting hit with spam comments from Japan and Spain.
   Gibberesh stuff pulled from spammer twitter accounts and cross posted to the
   sites. The only common thread is a hashtag for a musical artist, so it seems
   someone is using bad methods to try and game Google and other search engine rankings.
 * Akismet catches them and marks them spam, I delete them, and move on. Nothing
   more you can do about it except accept that it is a part of life on the web.
   The only permanent solution is to turn commenting off completely.

 * Yeah, I’ve made a somewhat business out of it.
 * You aren’t charging for the software itself nor are you selling the software
   itself. You are charging for your services and knowledge in putting it together
   and making it function in the way the customer wants.
 * Nothing illegal about that or against any terms I am aware of.

 * I’ve always set the permalink structure before making any posts. This site is
   my main site and I use the settings for every site I make after it. (you know,
   the template for future work. 😉 )
 * I do use a Page Order plugin but nothing for posts. Never had a problem with
   the page order plugin and have never had a need to deactivate or remove it.
 * I just found that this issue is hitting another site. It is a media site (images
   only) and I tried making a new post. When I hit “insert into post” it 404s.
 * Both sites are on different servers.
 * Starting to think there is something going on with the servers…investigating
   but nothing is popping up.
 * Thanks for the input, much appreciated. Just very weird that it started within
   the past day or so.

 * Do you have TwitConnect installed?
 * I know the two are both pushing the same things through headers, which is why
   I had to disable this plug-in for the moment.
 * Only started with this update, so there might be other plug-in incpompatibilies
   out there.

 * Just updated to the latest version and the select-multiple works perfectly.
 * Thank you very much for adding it and being so quick about it. Quite professional
   and appreciated.
 * Going to mark this as resolved now.

 * Much appreciated.
 * Found out another little “please” from some people who visit the site.
 * They say that the buttons to click to upload media are not clickable. This seems
   to be relegated to Windows7 at the moment, using Chrome and IE.
 * Just a heads up.

 * For now you can create a user named “Guest Post” or “Guest Author” and have that
   as the standard name until the solution is integrated.
