I put the files all in the wordpress folder but if i keep the wp content folder in the root i get a black page on my site. I’m really having trouble understanding this since im a first timer. The reason im trying to do all this is because when i would login to my wepage and go to wp-admin login screen when i would login it would redirect me to the same login page and i could have never went to the options. I noticed it works if i put localhost:8080 as wordpress adress and http://myhomepage.servebbs.com:8080 (which is the redirected site from myhomepage.go.dyndns.org because my isp blocked port 80.)The problem with that is when people would try to connect from the internet there was no theme to the page. It was black and white writing. Looks like this..

Whoops forgot to post my website. I wonder if it even works on the internet anymore cause there really no way i can see that unless i ask someone else. I can’t check over my own network.

You should see the redirection once your on the site if you look at the address bar.
