 * Most processes tried with plugins are running into memory/timeout limits and
using those plugins only allow about 25 at a time without memory error.
 * In the SQL query tab of cPanel is there a method to delete all users except User
   ID’ 1 and 2?

 * Thanks. I will do. Surprised it’s not been answered in the support forums there
when asked previously. Seems like a no-brainer to place that information on the
tech notes when the upgrade was announced. If it’s there I couldn’t find it.

 * Thanks for your response. Are you part of the development team? I do have some

 * Using the built-in default roles. was not able to access calendar from non-admin
account. However nothing changed by use except to update WordPress and other
plugins and not non-admins have access to calendar. Seems to have self-corrected.
Weird. But thanks for your response.

 * I’m not knowledgeable as to what I should be looking for here. The backups/moves
I’ve done before are not using the raw sql. Not sure what to check at this point.

 * No the index.html file is there. I just renamed the index.html to indexx.html
   and I get this message:
    “Error establishing a database connection”
 * So I checked the wp-config.php file and to see that the database, user and password
are the same as the one I created.
 * I am not sure what the prefix of the database was on the previous server though
   if that matters here

 * OK. The problem is that these instructions, they keep referencing accessing the
old server which for which we do not have admin access..
 * I did follow this section, “Moving to a New Server” and the 2nd paragraph, “Note:
If you are changing to a new server but same domain, all you need to do is edit
wp-config.php with your new database/user information and upload everything as
it is to your new server. “
 * So I copied the WP files to /server/domain/ (same domain name as old site) and
created new database copying the database, user name and password from the wp-
config.php file and then trying to access the /server/domain/ location I get
 * “Welcome. You see this page because you have set up your Web server for serving
a new site, but have not uploaded the site content yet. “
 * I have not changed DNS settings yet to the new site so not sure if this is whey
this is happening but my concern is changing DNS servers and then not having
access to either site. (in case access to old files need to be obtained.)

 * Yes, it’s working now. Just a mystery to the cause but happy it’s working now.

 * OK. Thanks. I had noticed that this is working under IE and Chrome so went back
to FFox and did same. Thanks. What I cannot figure out is how come it was working
fine and then stopped working. Don’t think cache should have affected that.

 * Well it was working but then it stopped working. I have added no plugins since
it was working. I did just try the permalink reset you mention but it didn’t
   correct the issue.

 * Having similar issue, just added redirection to a site that is installed on Add-
on domain in Hostgator account. Not site coming up as generic HTML pages and
trying to login to Dashboard redirects me into Dashboard of main WP install on
the hosting acct instead of the install on the sub-folder. Need to fix ASAP!
