I have a large number of plugins activated on this site, about 30, and I assume there was some sort of conflict. By the luck of the draw “Configure SMTP” did not run into any conflicts, I assume. * regardless thanks for the reply. What I did was correct. But you have to go into the setting page and deselect password from the list of hidden fields to display and save the settings. I had misunderstood the restriction but am now clear on it. Thank you. * The main issue I’m currently having is that the admin area for the main site and all blogs on the network are incredibly slow.
