    Hello PDFG Support

    Thank you for your prompt response and the advice contained therein, which I will follow.

    However, to reiterate, a PDF will download via a link and can be opened using Adobe Reader, but when using the ‘secure’ option of PDF Embedder with the Paragraph Block and the additional code of – download=”on” -, whilst the PDF will download the file will not open in Adobe Reader.

    I will send an example PDF to contact@wp-pdf.com

    Hello Di Business Theme Author

    Thank you for your response.

    It has turned out to be a plugin conflict. One of the earliest plugins I installed when embarking on my WordPress journey, several years ago, was ‘Widget Options’ by Phpbits Creative Studio.

    It enables you to “show or hide widgets on specific pages via checkbox options”. As your last message made no reference to the ‘Product Category’ checkbox options, I unticked the Show on checked pages and Post Types/ Pages – Shop, resulting in the ‘Product Category’ widget now showing on the Shop and Single Product pages.

    Thank you for your help, patience and theme. I will be enquiring about the additional features in the Pro version.

    Regards

    Hello Di Business Theme Author

    I should have mentioned that I had tried both left and right sidebar layouts without any success.

    The Product Categories Widget only seems to display when inserted into the Page Sidebar.

    I did wonder if there might be a plugin conflict and have deactivated all but the Site Origin plugins from the following list, again without any success:

    – Page Builder by SiteOrigin
    – SiteOrigin CSS
    – SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle
    – Woocommerce Table Rate Shipping
    – MMWD Remove Add To Cart for WooCommerce (while the shop page is being developed)

    All the Shop pages have been restricted to Administrator and Shop Manager(while the shop page is being developed)

    For information I have added the following style changes, via the Customiser in the themes’s ‘Additional CSS’:

    #panel-5-0-1-0 .widget-title {
    background:#a0ce4e;
    }

    #panel-5-0-1-1 .widget-title {
    background:#a0ce4e;
    }

    #panel-5-0-1-2 .widget-title {
    background:#a0ce4e;
    }

    #panel-5-0-1-3 .widget-title {
    background:#a0ce4e;
    }

    #panel-5-0-1-0 .widget-title {
    color: white!important;
    }

    #panel-5-0-1-1 .widget-title {
    color: white!important;
    }

    #panel-5-0-1-2 .widget-title {
    color: white!important;
    }

    #panel-5-0-1-3 .widget-title {
    color: white!important;
    }

    body {
    background: #F8F8F8;
    }

    .col-sm-6 .spsl-fr-topbar-icons {
    display: none!important;
    }

    Any further help would be appreciated.

    Regards
