 * I have the same problem. When the link to image is inserted into the post, it
doesn’t add the filename append for thumbnail size. You can do it manually after
link insertion by adding in the img src portion of the link the thumb appending
addition to your img filename: change yourimage.jpg to yourimage-150×150.jpg
or whatever your custom thumbnail size happens to be.

 * After a bit more searching, I found the solution. Please disregard this post.
I simply added the wp_list_pages code in the execphp widget and was overcome
   with delight. Thanks anyway.

 * Would this be an acceptable alternative? Create a new install of WP in a new
subdirectory, then use the import function to import posts from the troubled
install, then copy the index.php and htaccess to root so the new install is visible
   at domain root.

 * Here’s what happened to me when I used xampp lite. It wouldn’t work because of
the newer php. So I installed the full version of xampp and switched it to the
older version php and it worked great. Except my computer would quickly fizzle
out after a few edits and saves while working on a theme. I’m quite the novice,
but I would like to find a way to use xampp successfully on my old computer.

 * I don’t have a large site, so the time consumed isn’t an issue. But I could dig
having the option to turn off auto generation of the sitemap; maybe with a reminder
on the dashboard that the sitemap has not been rebuilt in xx number of days.

 * I realized at the outset that it was a somewhat trivial request (thats why I
expected a scolding), but hoped that it might be easily done myself. I am using
the new sticky plugin and thought that it would remove the date completely, but
I can’t seem to get that function. Thanks for your reply.

 * The reason is; I use a sticky announcement at the top of my home page and re-
edit it every few days. I want the new date to show each time its edited. I currently
simply change the timestamp during each edit. But a nice little tic box would
eliminate at least two mouseclicks. Quite a time saver, it would be.
 * I’ve got this gut feeling that I am about to be scolded.

 * Do search engines draw any distinction between minor errors and serious ones?
And, assuming meta information is in order, how severe is the penalty for a site
with a few minor errors as opposed to a site with no errors? Thank you guys for
   your responses.

 * But what do I do when the validation errors are caused by a banner that I’m not
permitted to modify, or a plugin that I happen to think is too important to dispose
   of?

less. Thanks for the help. This is my second dumb post of the day. I’m outta

 * It is very nice, and customizable. Maybe you’ll help me out with something? I
don’t know how to make the CForm snap to the top of the page with one particular
theme I’m using. Its a three column theme with the page content in the middle.
No matter how wide I make the content portion, CForm stays at the bottom of the
page. With the other 3 column themes I’ve tried, it snaps to the top as expected.
   The theme is Fluid Index.

a practical joke on me, and I never found out until today. Jeez.

 * I don’t have a different machine. I’ve had the same article on my website for
years, and the bleep never showed up til I started using WP 2.1.2 – I’ll start
unplugging plugins and see if one of them is causing this.
