 * Same here, in addition to removing line breaks and messing up with the code after
posting. Unfortunately we wasted so much time with no solution, and we are considering
to dump WP all over and switch to a more reliable CMS/blogging package.
 * A key point in selecting a CMS solution is its editor’s power and flexibility.
If the latest version of WP cannot maintain our code and formatting and mess
up our posts, then we don’t need it!

 * Good start. I believe you’re looking for a user management module, which I haven’t
seen something similar for WP on this site. Try to google for third-party solutions.
It could also work if you could add a new field to your WP database to save/retrieve
   every user’s icon/avatar with posts.
 * My 2 cents: your blog’s skin is depressing; consider changing it 🙂

 * Ghana Music is one of the best news/media sites that utilizes WordPress as both
   CMS and blogging tool:

 * Best viewed under FireFox 2.x
 * The number of site visits increased after switching from Joomla/Xoops, and visitor’s
   feedback is now much greater.
 * WordPress is the future platform for designing multi-purpose, user interactive
   web sites 😉
