Hi @tytan,
Sorry for the late reply.
Yes, it is indeed possible to override the template by copy-pasting the template(s) in your active theme/child-theme directory by following the same directory path/hierarchy in the plugin like this:
{your-theme}/easy-facebook-likebox/instagram/frontend/views/templates/template-{$layout}.php
For example, if you want to customize a full-width layout. The path will look like this:
{your-theme}/easy-facebook-likebox/instagram/frontend/views/templates/template-full_width.php
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any more questions.
Hi @andrewgrmiller,
I am sorry to hear you are facing this issue. Please contact us from Easy Social Feed -> Contact -> Bug report. We will be happy to investigate and fix this issue.
In the meantime, you can hide this notice by disabling debugging using this plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-debugging/After activating the plugin go to Tools -> WP Debugging, uncheck “Set WP_DEBUG to true” and save changes.
Besides hiding this error, it’s recommended to disable debuggin on production sites because it will slow down the site and could be a potentially security risk.
Thanks
Hi @beckymcgraw,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Hi @beckymcgraw,
Thanks for purchasing the combo plan.
It is indeed responsive and works great on mobile. You can see this in action here: https://easysocialfeed.com/custom-facebook-feed/carousel/
I suspect there could be a theme CSS conflict which can be resolved.
According to WP.org guidelines, we can only provide support for the free version of the plugin in this forum.

If the code above is not working, try adding !important at the end like this:
.home .floating_next_prev_wrap { display:none !important; }

Hi @sibivfl
There’s an option to show the floating links on the specific page on WP Admin -> Floating Links -> Display Settings -> Show on specific pages.
Alternately you can use the following CSS code to hide the links from homepage.
.home .floating_next_prev_wrap { display:none; }
You can add this code from WP Admin -> Appearance -> Customiser -> Additional CSS

In reply to: [Easy Social Feed - Social Photos Gallery - Post Feed - Like Box] UnreliableHi @pilgrimpov
I will be happy to address your concern but first of all I would like to thank you for sharing constructive feedback about the functionality of the plugin.
The empty box show-up due to the following reasons.
- When the password or any other privacy setting is changed on Facebook/Instagram.
- When the plugin tries to render the feed from the cache with expired signatures. Please note that to avoid load time and reduce API calls Easy Social Feed cache the feed for the duration selected while generating the shortcode (default one day) and fetches new information every day, hour or week depending on the settings while generating the shortcode. Please note that for scheduling we rely on WPCron (scheduling) that’s not 100% accurate even on high-traffic websites. In such cases, when the plugin fails to fetch new information from FB/IG it uses the old stored information that results in an empty box.
Possible solution(s).
- In the first scenario the only option is delete the connection and connect the plugin again.
- For the second scenario, replace WPCron with System Scheduler. There’s the official documentation from WP.org to address this issue: https://developer.wordpress.org/plugins/cron/hooking-wp-cron-into-the-system-task-scheduler/ if you are not sure please contact your hosting provider to set this up.
I hope this information will be helpful for existing and new users of the plugin. If you have any additional questions please open the support ticket. I will be happy to help.

Hi @lejav
The plugin is only displaying the cached posts. Please go to WP Admin -> Easy Social Feed -> Facebook -> Cache. Delete all cache or of a specific page(s) and then reload the page.
Please note that to avoid sending multiple calls to Facebook and load the content faster we temporarily store the information in WP Database. We periodically send the call to get new information using WPCron. In your case, if it’s not automatically fetching in information after the set time it seems the WP Cron is not working on your site. Please contact your host for troubleshooting or alternately using System Cron.
Do let us know if you have any other questions. Happy to help 🙂
