 * It’s getting a bit confusing so let’s recapitulate:
 * The root mydomain.com runs on a WP installation.
    The membership site is a php
   site in a folder mydomain.com/membersite, outside the wp installation and connects
   to an external DB. The subdomains sub1.mydomain.com, sub2.mydomain.com, etc…
   don’t have a WP installation. They have html content or a redirect.
 * The new subdomain wordpresssub.mydomain.com with a seperate wp install doesn’t
   let me login to the wp-admin.
 * Our other domains have multisites with wildcard subdomains or subfolders. Never
   had a problem to login.
    So to test things I installed a subdomain on a site
   running on a single WP installation in the root, installed a WP on that subdomain
   and this allows me to login to wp-admin as normal.
 * All domains reside on the same dedicated server.
 * So it’s really puzzling why there is this login problem on that particular subdomain
   on that particular domain. I’m going to try to get in, export the content and
   delete the installation to try again with a fresh WP install. If that doesn’t
   work … Have no clue why.
 * Thank you for your replies.
 * Have a nice day.

 * They are on the same dedicated server.
 * Maybe I can try to delete the wp installation, reinstall and see what happens.
   There are some draft posts on it but there’s no problem to repost them.
 * If that doesn’t work I could also solve this by setting up a multisite on the
   main domain, but find that a bit risky. The root site is our main business domain
   and exists a long time, so subfolder multisite is no option.
    It has a number
   of redirected subdomains, but the root has also a folder housing a very busy
   membership site (php) that connects to a DB residing on another domain.
 * I fear that if I set up wildcard multisite this not only will interfere with
   the rest of the subdomains. My doomsday scenario is that I end up with messing
   up the membership site. I’m no good at repairing php things 😉
 * Thank you.
 * Have a nice day.

 * It’s a subdomain I created via Cpanel, so it’s a folder in the root with the
   WP installed in that folder and using a seperate DB.
 * The same type of subdomain with wp causes no problem on the test domain.
 * Thank you.

 * Hi,
 * I tried the password recovery from another pc, got in,changed theme to twentyfifteen,
   disabled all plugins,did “logout everywhere”.
 * Logged out… Tried to get back in: same problem.
 * Same problem for my business partner (in another country). He could get in yesterday,
   can’t get in today.
 * This is weird, because meanwhile I’ve set up a test subdomain on another site(
   same dedicated server) and no problems at all at that new site.

 * Thank you for your fast reaction.
 * I use the WeaverXtreme (+Pro) theme which I use on all of our sites and I have
   no plugins installed that aren’t part of the set of plugins I install on all
   of our sites, but I could try switch theme and deactivate plugins if I could
   login with the newly reset password I installed following the email link.
 * But right now, I can’t get in.
 * Could it be because it’s installed on a subdomain, while there is a WP installed
   in the root of that domain?
    If that is part of the problem then it’s still weird
   that a few hours back I could get in using the email reset link.
 * Tried other sites, no problems there.
 * Thank you.
    Have a nice day.

 * Hi Chris,
 * I think we had a version 6.(?) but I’ll take a look at your url.
 * I installed the newest version on another site, no problem there. Installed Glossy
   too, didn’t have the time yet to figure out how that works.
 * My partner Ian mailed you 2 days ago (subject: job offer, coming from managers@
   our domain)
    Waiting your reply. If you’re not interested can you let us know.
   We need to find a coder but don’t want to contact more than one person at a time.
 * Thanks.

 * Thank you for the quick reply.
    Tippy worked fine with multisites until I tried
   to upgrade. So I guess that it now doesn’t work due to the error I got the upgrade
   not installed as should.
 * The WP upgrades all go well on all sites but I had an issue with upgrading twenty
   eleven theme. That gives me a similar error.
 * I’m in contact with our host over this, his first guess is that it’s maybe a
   firewall issue.
 * I would like to go back to the previous version of Tippy. It’s not such a big
   deal to remove it and redo the settings after reinstall, but we have several
   multisite installations so it would be nice if I can avoid that.
 * On another note: My business partner contacted you yesterday on your site for
   a php coder job. Could you let us know if you’re interested or not? We need custom
   plugins for pop up and sliders too. We always prefer to pay for a great plugin
   than to go with free stuff.
    Thank you.

 * Hi,
 * I found out that it has to do with the upgrade to the newest version.
    Today
   I upgraded it on one of my sites and this triggered 2 errors.

    The plugin now no longer

 * Do you have a commercial version available for purchase?
 * Thank you.

    Plugins–
   > add new –> search: CBPress
 * Good luck 🙂

 * The latest WP upgrade caused some problems, but that can happen to the best.
   In my idea this caused a lot of support requests while they were locating and
   solving the issue.
 * Maybe your ticket got delayed for some reason & this can happen to the best too.
   You wouldn’t believe how the best of softwares sometimes has a tech issue causing
   client tickets to vanish or parsed into a wrong department, which causes delay.
   It doesn’t happen often but nothing on earth is infallible.
 * At CP press I got reply to my ticket & my forum post, and the issue got solved.
   I had a problem on CB Engine with changing my default CB username and that got
   solved too in no time.
 * I hope your problem gets solved too.

 * Hi CB Engine
 * Good news. It seems to be solved.
 * I deleted once again the remaining cb engine folder from the wp installation
   on the server.
    Uploaded the new version again from your site. Installed it via
   the normal WP upload. Activated. Works fine at first view.
 * I had again internal server error on that site when I was on the wp admin today,
   but that was before I did all above.
 * I’m very busy right now hence it can take a while before I’ve reinstalled it
   on all sites, but since I don’t use many free plugins and always have the same
   theme (WeaverII Pro, most of the time the blank subtheme) I don’t expect more
   problems now.
 * Have a nice day.

 * Did this.
 * It’s the same problem. All widgets & widgets admin blocked.
    I also get internal
   server errors when I let the plugin stay, deactivated.

 * Still the same problem. Validation OK, but blocks all widgets.
 * FYI: I always use the WeaverII Pro theme. No problem with CB Press previous to
   the WP upgrade.
 * I noticed on CB Engine that you changed my primary clickbank nickname as a follow-
   up on my support ticket. Thank you for solving this.

 * Hi,
 * Thanks for the replie & follow ups on my support ticket.
    Did all you suggested
   and also tried with deleting the folder on the server and upload manualy. Looks
   like it validated automatically the receipt and clickbank ID, since they show
   up on the validation panel and validate withouth problem.
 * But CBPress still blocks the entire widgets admin panel, hence it can’t be used.
   I didn’t change anything opn my site (theme or plugins) and it worked fine before
   the WP upgrade. The widgets problem disappears when I deactivate your plugin.
   I hope you find a solution.
