 * On further investigation it seems that the search plugin we are using was overriding
   the post_parent 0 setting.

 * Hi, Yes the theme is now good but I’m still getting the same error from the Virtue
   toolkit plugin.

 * PHP version is 7.3.22. Domain is [https://www.sherline.com](https://www.sherline.com)
   but there is no visible issue. Just the message in the php error log. Created
   versions of those files in the child theme with the updated call (i.e. get_tax_price_display_mode)
   and cut the errors from hundreds to 1 per page load.

 * So I’ve switched the js file code for the unminified dev version and the error
   goes away.
    Guess there is an issue with the minification.

 * Thanks fkemps. Just taken a look and I’m running 5.3.24. From the PHP manual 
   the short tag [] for array is 5.4 and above. Oh well completely useless plugin
   update. I’ll have to look for an alternative.
