Somehow I must have deactivated the transparency and this led to the gray banner. Now I reactivated the transparent banner again and it looks fine now. Though I would still prefer to have an untransparent banner without the grey block. I think it’s not a header issue. But it is not urgent from my side. I will have to reinstall everything anyway, I think, because the site is so slow, even with LiteSpeed and CDN (while another of my homepages on the same provider is very fast). I think they assume that the Editor Plus plugin is causing the issue and thus the [Editor Plus](https://wordpress.org/plugins/editorplus/) plugin creator has to solve it. I have deactivated it, cleared the queue and eventually, I will reactivate the plugin again when I need it. But it did not change anything. I am not sure what the code exactly does, but the problem is not Font Awesome. It is displayed perfectly fine at the other links, and deleting the icon also doesn’t help. * The only problem is the link, which begins with api.
