 * When I initially installed the plugin, it worked right away, there was no delay,
but then shortly after that it stopped working and I have not received any notifications
from the updated page since the initial 2 or 3. I wonder if it’s a WordPress
   email handling issue. ?

 * I’m having the same issue. The updated page is no longer sending out an email
to any subscriber, including to me, the admin.
 * Is this plugin abandoned? There has not been an update in a long time, and it
   no longer appears to work.

 * You are right, it is compatible with WordPress. It is not compatible with many
of my premium themes or sliders, so for that reason I can no longer use it.

People need to be aware that the gallery plugin breaks sliders. This is an old
issue, if you look it up online. It has been breaking sliders for years. If I
had known that I would never have started to use it. That means there is a problem
with the plugin itself, so it shouldn’t be blamed on just whatever themes no
longer work with it due to the slider issue.

 * There was a new update to the plugin today and it didn’t fix the problem. My
theme still has a non-appearing slider when the plugin is activated….
    This plugin
does NOT work with the newest version of WordPress! People need to be aware it
might break your slider and who knows what else this plugin will do to your theme.
I will have to replace all my galleries with another plugin unless they fix this
   soon.
 * (It has never happened before, I have used this plugin for years.)

 * From that page the only answer is it’s not fixed yet. I wonder if anyone knows
if it will be fixed or should we use another photo gallery plug in? The weird
thing is that some people continue to use it and it works for them. So maybe
it’s related to theme or other plugins? It does not work for me at the moment
and it’s completely ruining my site. My blog depends on the Nextgen gallery plugin
   for every single post.

 * Sick to death of these upgrades.
 * sorry flyingdisc, I can’t help you. I’m about ready to chuck WP in the trash.
Users need a revolt. Stop the constant upgrades. Stop them.

 * Do the WP developers have any idea how most users hate the upgrades? Really despise
   and dread them?
 * I hate the upgrades.
 * WordPress is always change for the sake of change. I install a new version, fix
whatever is wrong with my database afterwards, (it’s usually something like the
size of the database or something minor but annoying) and then 2 weeks later,
another upgrade, more fixes, etc. What are all these upgrades gaining the user
but more headaches? For about a year now I’ve wanted to stop upgrading but then
the plugins stop working or something else. The users don’t need all these upgrades.
The developers are drinking too much Red Bull or something is making them overly
hyperactive. Please, please stop “improving” something that works and let us
   just USE it.
 * I’m not upgrading any more. I’m sick of all these problems every single time!
 * At the moment I can’t even use my admin panel and can’t find a way to fix it.
Maybe I’ll just move to Typepad or something that isn’t upgraded so damn much.

 * This should be fixed and releases should not be released until these bugs have
been worked out. I can’t access two of my blogs now thanks to this problem and
nothing I have found here is working. Why don’t you developers stop trying to
release new versions so quickly? Just let us bloggers be for awhile, without
all these upgrades. We don’t need constant upgrades.
 * I’m really tired of having to fix problems like this that we should never have
   to deal with.

apparently white text and can’t see a thing.

 * Hello,
 * What theperryfamily describes — this is also happening to me! I have the latest
version of WP, 2.8.1. On a long post, when saving, the post disappears entirely.
I can’t make it stay and I can’t get it to post. I have checked all over for
answers to this and no one seems to know why this would happen! (This has never
happened to me before, only with this version of WP.) I guess I will try to split
the post up into two posts, but that will really mess things up for me. I hope
this problem disappears with the next version, but if not, is there any fix for
   it now?
 * P.S. this is not an image problem for me, simply text.

 * Did anyone ever answer this question?
Word loses all formatting when imported
into WordPress. It’s a major problem for me.

 * When you get it working can you please let me know what you did?
    I’m trying
to get a WordPress blog to work inside Tiny Portal, the portal for SMF forums.
I want it all to be one website instead of having people flip over from the forum
into a WordPress blog that is by itself. I’d like to know if it can all be integrated
into the portal so that blog and forum are all together. Any ideas, please let
   me know.

 * Yes, I’ve been spending a lot of time troubleshooting and have tried everything
everyone has mentioned, reinstalled, etc. the problem is still there. I’m going
to have to go back to an earlier version.

 * Has anyone fixed this problem? I use Firefox, a Mac and just installed 2.1 and
I can’t even edit my posts. I have no editor tabs, no icons, no rich text. How
would I deactivate the plugins image manager? I don’t understand the directions
of the latest comment by AdrianusV.
