 * In my case it was an incompatibility of UAM with the [WordPress User Frontend](http://tareq.wedevs.com/2011/01/new-plugin-wordpress-user-frontend/).
   Now I use [Frontend Edit Profile](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/frontend-edit-profile/)
 * Now it works! 😉

 * I ‘ve got the same problem. First ist worked for half an hour and suddenly nothing
   worked at all 🙁
