 * Done a little more investigation. If I select another static page (like the download
   page” as the “Front Page”, and the blog page as the “POsts Page”, then t he blog
   page still looks like the home page. I’m tearing my hair out here.
 * I have fired up a default wordpress installation, and this works fine. Nothing
   like my live site does. The instructions from my first post work perfectly.
 * What could be causing my live site to behave so differently?

 * Dan, this didnt help at all.
 * Now the home page is showing all of the other pages within it, and not its original
   static content.

 * OK Dan, I’ll give that a shot.
 * How do I control where the posts are published to? I dont seem to have that much
   control within the Edit Post page.

 * Dan, I set the “Front Page” option as Home (which I think is the existing main
   page of the website), and “Posts Page” as my new blog page (News), as per this

 * Are you saying both of those options should point to “Home”?

 * These changes are not live – I’m trying to make these changes on a local copy(
   using DesktopServer).
 * The site in question is decezy.com. There is no blog part of this website at
   the moment.
