I have had to convert these to my theme’s (Avada in my case) toggles element. The world of IT is complicated enough and these forums are invaluable; however, it is quite common for someone to assist with a query and outline a solution only to find out that the solution provided wasn’t entirely correct or should be amended. Someone will, no doubt, stumble across the incorrect response only to find out that it is not working. Naturally, that person will reply stating that the solution does not work creating an unnecessary response which could have been rectified by the owner of the incorrect response if he or she had sufficient rights to delete or amend his response. I had Wordfence in version 4 and I was using a very useful plugin called Add From Server, where you insert images into a folder of your choice and you import directly from there without using the horrible media importer. WordPress version 5 threw an access denied error from Wordfence when using Add from Server. Do I deleted the plugin. Guess what, still there. That is just standard practice. Easy to overlook for users uploading FTP. BTW, how the heck do you delete previous posts? In other words, do not attach them to a post or page. * 2) Move images Either using FTP or your website’s web file manager, move all the associated images from …uploads/ to the folder of your choice. * 3) Run a custom SQL statement against the database to update wp_posts and wp_metapost. I can provide on request. What this essentially does is update the GUID in wp_posts and update the meta_data field in wp_metadata. You supply two parameters: post_name and folder path. * 4) Then insert into your page * Takes 5 seconds but the trick here is that it is not scouring your webpages. Thumbnail was obviously not generated. * I’m hoping that this JoomUnited wp-media-file plugin will work.
