Если же мне нужно что-то большее, чем просто написание статьи, я перехожу в текстовый редактор и использую плагин AddQuicktag, который мне позволяет добавлять свои собственные уникальные теги BBCode и быстро создавать страницу, которая мне нужна. Повторюсь, всё это настраивается только один раз, в начале создания сайта, затем только пользуешься, всё легко, просто и понятно. Следует учитывать, что большинство обычных пользователей вообще привыкли к BBCode, по той простой причине, что именно такие редакторы используются в комментариях на большинстве сайтов. И если новичок решит завести собственный блог на WordPress, ему вряд ли будет понятен сложный редактор Gutenberg. Да, как плагин, для многих это может пригодиться, но как часть ядра, для всех пользователей WordPress, вряд ли это будет полезно.
