* Any update on this? We have the same prob. We are on latest version of WP and
tawkto plugin. I have deactivated the plugin rather than show the error message
on our site.

* I have it sorted and have posted the solution below in case it is of use to anyone
else.

* I have deactivated the plugin as it is useless to me as it is. You will need
to tell me what the RIGHT channels are. Surely, I should be able to use this
support forum to notify an issue and request support.

* I have de-activated all other plugins to see if the conflict is with a plugin
but problem still exists.
* For more detailon the issue, when I highlight text in visual editor to be able
to see, it is text mode that is displayed as I can see characters etc.

* I also had 2 sites that appeared to be ‘hacked’ by adf.ly and have also tracked
it down to V1.6.7 of this plugin.
* It is worrying that after 2 weeks there is no response from the plugin developer.
In the interim I’m going back to V1.6.3 which is clean.
