 * Thanks for pointing out the theme. I have a child theme in which I had inserted
   the following into the functions.php – on the recommendation of a trade journal:
 * /* JSON-API-Schutz (c) c’t ———————————————*/
 * add_filter( ‘rest_authentication_errors’, function( $result ) {
   if ( ! empty(
   $result ) ) {return $result;}if ( ! is_user_logged_in() ) {return new WP_Error(‘
   401’, ‘not allowed.’, array(‘status’ => 401) );}return $result;});
 * Now I’ve taken that out – and it works.

 * Additional note & tip: meanwhile I switched to the plugin “Essential Blocks for
   Gutenberg”, also from WPDeveloper. Also here is the block “Infopost”, which works
   without problems. The blocks that are not needed can be deactivated.
