 * One of the developers of the theme just found the problem. It is because the
   polylang plugin is changing the home_url value, so I just needed to hardcode
   the link where the javascript is called.

 * I tried adding it to the js files for the different types of slideshow, however
   it didn’t work.
 * I browsed google a bit and found another post here on wordpress talking about
   a conflict between polyland and tupepress, where a user said that clicking the“
   Hide URL language information for default language” had worked. This gave me
   back the slideshow when seeing the page in the selected default language, but
   it still doesn’t work in any other language I add.

 * (I’m a noob at this, sorry)
    So do I set the “pll_load_front=1” inside the ajax
   request? or can I just set it in the header somewhere?
 * The slideshow uses a custom post type – it uses a portfolio post (not a standard
   blogpost).

 * Thanks,
 * Where do I set the pll_load_front?
 * I think the slideshow in the theme is based on WMU, if that gives you any hints
   to what the adaptions might be?
 * Again, thanks for helping me out…
