I clicked on the “got it” and the “notification” went away the page shifted down to reveal the top part of the page that was previously cut off. * I genuinely appreciate the support. I hope you will consider this constructive feedback – I’m a smart guy but because that “notification” was poorly designed and implemented from a UI standpoint (shifted my page up causing the top to be cut off, no scrollbars or borders on the “notification”), I totally missed the obvious. Perhaps another way of implementing this could be considered. * Thanks again. The problem began when I updated Elementor and Elementor Pro. I _think_ I updated Yoast SEO at the same time, but I can’t remember for sure. I’ve learned to check my website as I enable each plugin after updating. No problems until I got to Yoast SEO, which was the last one on the page. That said, I’m not saying it’s not a conflict with another plugin but I’m confident that I’ve tried all combinations of plugins to eliminate this possibility. It seems that everything points to Elementor and Yoast SEO conflicting. * I like Yoast SEO and appreciate the product and support. If my situation is isolated, there isn’t much sense in you spending your time and resources on it. It would be easier for me to simply move to another SEO solution. Let me know. I’m linking to 4 screen captures below. You can see how the page is cut off at the top and the odd block at the bottom of the page. The issues happens in both Chrome and FireFox. Clearing cache and cookies does not resolve the issue. Disabling the Yoast SEO plugin removes these problems and the page appears and functions normally. I am running WP 5.8.2, Yoast SEO 17.6, and Elementor 3.4.8 and Elementor Pro 3.5.1. There is one error in the console that I’m unsure of its cause (have been trouble shooting but it appears to be a common error). I missed that. I think I’m brain dead. Yes, I just activated the Hello World theme and then updated the Elementor plugin via the admin panel and it worked! * I guess that tells me that my theme is not 4.9.6 compliant. Hmmm… is it possible to update a theme? The site crashed. I restored the database and the Elementor plugins folder and the site is back up and running. * I do agree that the scenario you are describing can cause similar results but it sure feels like there is some sort of conflict with the plugin and something else.
