 * I have just noticed that the hyperlink colour changes I attempted with the code
   you recommended have worked in Firefox but not in Chrome!

 * Okay. Thanks a lot for the guidance! I am currently trying out WPYogi’s solution
   and I will set up a child theme if that doesn’t work.

 * No, I have not been using one.
 * I am still relatively new to editing themes. I will do this if it is the safest
   way of making the changes

 * Thanks for the quick responses!
 * Kevin, I tried adding those two bits of code to my stylesheet and the links did
   not change colour. I put the [@media](https://wordpress.org/support/users/media/)
   all one at the bottom of my style sheet and after I put the second one in my 
   General Rules section. Am I doing something wrong?
