 * Great point by [@roam92](https://wordpress.org/support/users/roam92/) above.
   I still see the pipe separator in search results often.
 * It would be different it the use of the | separator was found to consistently
   hurt rankings. Then I could get behind it being removed from the plugin.
 * However, just because Google replaces it _sometimes_ doesn’t mean it’s a problem.
 * Did Yoast even do a study to see how often it’s replaced? This choice feels completely
   random and not based on any real evidence or reasoning.
 * Honestly, the over-reach to remove a symbol I prefer when it’s not a choice that
   negatively impacts SEO makes me want to consider a different SEO plugin for my
   site and for my clients.

 * Ah, bummer. I was hoping the client wouldn’t have to do any image resizing to
   make this work. Thanks for your help, and please do consider revising (though
   I know this isn’t all you do! 😉 )
 * Cheers,
    Sara

 * Ah! Ok, then we have a different issue. When the RSS Image Size is set to 560,
   my headshots are showing up as 560px wide even though the original post uses
   a “medium” size, right-aligned image.

 * I did regenerate thumbnails, if that matters. Thank you Robin!
