I just pushed an update fixing the 404 error. I still can’t replicate the category issue. * The plugin creates 3 tables, userfiles_category,userfiles_cats, and userfiles_icons. If the tables can’t be found then the plugin is installed again. Check to make sure the tables are there. If it upgrades properly automatically you should see a message saying the update was completed. You can also try deactivating and re-activating the plugin. Can you tell me what plugins you have on your site? Also, have you received a message after updating that said the plugin was updated? * I can’t seem to re-create this error on any test sites and the plugin is fine on our main site. I left an echo in I was using to debug which is causing most of the issues with the error messages everyone is getting. I have found a couple other little things I overlooked. I have been busy and worked on the last big update in little pieces over a long period of time and ended up making a bunch of stupid mistakes. I hope this next update will rectify all of them. * Don’t forget to preface the language files with userfiles- (ex. userfiles-es_ES. mo) so wordpress knows the language file is for the plugin. I purchased the Gold cart and after getting zero customer support stopped using WPSC quite a while ago so I forget how the hook functions. You can read how that works from the WPSC documentation. As also stated, this is not always compatible with the new version of WPSC. The warning message has been fixed and the fix will be included in the next release. Also added will be categories, click to download icon, icons, and more. All my wp e-commerce sites have been taken down as their plugin hasn’t worked right since the last barrage of updates. I lost all of the shipping options on one site and the categories went off the page on another. I have not updated this plugin since that so it will not work with the newer versions. Sorry for an inconvenience. * I recommend WPstorecart, that’s what I have switched my clients to. * To remove the plugin if there is an error: delete the file with your FTP client and revisit the plugins page in your wordpress site.
