When you say the issue is likely temporary, over what period of time? When I get the “cannot fetch” error, I typically wait a week ( at least) to see if it will resolve, and it never does. But when I resubmit the sitemap, it usually only takes minutes (up to an hour) for the issue to resolve. * This has happened 5 times over the past 6-8 months, so it doesn’t feel like a“ one-off”. * I will review your debugging suggestion as well. The very first result is my blog syndicated on a 3rd party site. All the others are clearly references to that syndicated entry. * (2) Do a Google Search on “Yelp Is Not a Trusted Authority for Small Business Owners Bizyhood”. You’ll now see 3 entries from blog.bizyhood.com. But these do not appear to show up at all on that first search. * So, clearly my page is being indexed. But it’s not being found for the “obvious” stuff. I was having this exact issue, and was going through all the tables, changing everything I could! I did not know to change the wp_user_role field – once I did that, I could login to my site again.
