    I appreciate the response.. I would like to see the ADDITIONAL CSS code and see where I went wrong. Can you please also add that to this thread? Thanks so much

    Well everything you are helping with is working.. So thanks a bunch.. I just wish it would look as it does in Firefox in Edge and Chrome. In Edge the links at the bottom of the page are underlined and dotted and not green. I am just glad it works perfectly in FF.

    since you added the .widget-title can I assume we can remove the

    .widget.col .widget-title {
    color: #77bc1c
    }

    or is that .widget-col doing something I am not aware of?

    Thread Starter saxamo

    (@saxamo)

    I was wondering if you might be able to tell me the CSS so that all the titles in widgets are that green color. Thanks for your help. I am really liking this theme. Will there be any more updates to it in the future?

    Thanks so much for the help. This is what I have in the additional CSS now

    /**
    * Current day color on calendar
    */
    .wp-calendar-table #today {
    background-color:   #77bc1c;
    color: #fff;
    }

    a:link {
      text-decoration: none;
      color: #77bc1c;
    }

    a:hover {
    	text-decoration: none;
    	color: #848482;
    }

    /* visited link */
    a:visited {
    	text-decoration: none;
      color: #848482;
    }

    .special-word {
      color: #77bc1c;
    }

    .widget.col .widget-title {
    color: #77bc1c
    }

    .site-title a {
    color: #77bc1c
    }

    If anything there is not required please let me know.. The site is now working properly in Edge and FF with the Title.. Thanks again.

    Looks like that rectangle is a FF thing.. Stupid.. However, I still could use some help with my CSS to make sure I am doing it properly. Just want the site to look like it does right now in Microsoft EDGE but want the site title to be the same green as the links. I can’t seem to find the proper element with web dev tools since when you hover over title it goes to hover state.. I just want the title to be a different color when first coming to the site and no matter what even if clicked remain the same color.

    this is a great simple, minimal theme that has great potential for those of us not wanting things that don’t work in tor. I wish there was a way to make the menu capable of running in a strict tor browser, but you are the geniuses not me. I would keep this theme alive especially for those of us that want something simple. I also noticed that the meta information does not work but takes from the post itself instead of the excerpt or what is done in a 3rd party meta plugin. I really hope you continue with this theme. Keeping it simple, responsive and the ability to change colors more easily and personally you have winner here.

    This was also something I have been working on regarding this template. I am hoping you can make the changes on your end for future updates regarding this email.

    I’m just following up on this inquiry you have on the unfurling of your web pages. I’ve also been able to reproduce the same behavior using Discord too. It looks like the <DOCTYPE> declarations at the top of the page are causing an unfurls to fail to a bug on our end. In particular the IE declaration lines seem to be what is causing the problem:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/browsers/ie-document-modes-faq.

    <!–[if IE 7]>
    <html class=”ie ie7″ lang=”en-US”>
    <![endif]–>
    <!–[if IE 8]>
    <html class=”ie ie8″ lang=”en-US”>
    <![endif]–>
    <!–[if !(IE 7) & !(IE 8)]><!–>

    We cannot always unfurling of all web pages, but I’ve raised this for our team to consider improving in future. However for clarity ,it would likely be a long time before any such changes to Slack’s unfurling could be prioritized.

    If you would like to try and work around the issue, I would suggest you try removing or changing those doc-type declarations if at all possible. In a previous report, removing them was found to work around the issue.

    Apologies I wasn’t able to find a more complete solution here. Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any further questions, I’ll do my best to assist where possible.

    Kind regards,

    Dominic.

    I hope someone looks at these support questions soon.. Thanks!

    Oh one more thing.. Where the heck are the widget titles? and why is there no text widget? All I am trying to do is put an image in the widget area of the footer and it does not give me an option to add a title. I used to be able to do this with the TEXT widget you could add a title and html code, but I can’t find anything in this theme that gives me this option and the Legacy Widgets do not include text. Thoughts?

    In addition to the above.. I just want to point out.. and I mean this sincerely as a way to maybe make some improvements to the theme. This site has like 6 plugins.. akismet, wordfence, seopress, robots txt editor, and wp forms. There is nothing else and the site is basically text with an image here and there. Actually two slider images and one page image.. so nothing heavy.. I am not complaining of the time, but I have used themes that were 400ms load time and a straight A rating. So, again, just saying maybe by looking at this you can enhance a great theme.

    I hope this is informative..

    PS.. I am also using a image optimizer plugin. Nothing else..

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the help but I went with another plugin that now validates twitter card checker.

    (@saxamo)

    I can’t add anything the damn plugin is suppose to do it all.. What the hell is going on here.. Do you people know your own plugin?

    Thread Starter saxamo

    (@saxamo)

    https://gumdropgoblins.com

    every page. In your code it speciifies an OG_image and a twitter image: It should not matter what page or post you test the code from your plugin exists in the post. Therefore should not twitter see the image link in the code? It’s there..

    What? If you read the above it says I already tested it in both places.. It says it won’t validate. Not sure why you would tell me to validate it and let you know if I have any more problems.. it also indicated the website in the post.. ????

    Hello there,

    Again, thanks for the reply.. However, that code above is most definitely being generated by Blog2Social. When I deactivate your plugin it goes away.

    I have nothing else, no other plugin that would add that data to my site.

    I have tested pretty much everything I can think of everywhere there is..

    Thread Starter saxamo

    (@saxamo)

    Thanks for the reply.. I am able to post a tweet at twitter and it has the information it needs and yes I did select the meta tag settings. If you look at my website and then check source code you can see that your code is there.

    The problem is not that it won’t post to twitter it is that twitter itself does not validate the card on the dev twitter card check.. If you google that you will get to the twitter card checker. Please put in my url above and see the out put. It does not match the meta information at my site.

    Now this could be a caching issues on the web.. maybe but then when I check it some place else it says that it cannot find the twitter image and reverts back to the OG_image as fallback. Thankfully they are the same otherwise twitter would be using facebooks image..

    I am curious if the twitter imagesrc would fix this issue..

    I think with your plugin since the posts to twitter and facebook work people are just happy with that. However, the settings should also provide the required information for things like messenger, whatsapp, slack, discord, etc.. link previews and right now this plugin does not provide previews for links in some of those.

    Thanks again.. just letting you know what I found out in my testing.
